Fairgrove is Cupertino's only Eichler tract: roughly 220 to 230 homes built in two phases — east of Hyde Avenue in 1960, west in 1961 — around Miller Avenue and Bollinger Road, in the early-60s model years.
Cupertino later wrote the neighborhood's character into law with its R1-e single-family Eichler regulations, governing rooflines and second stories. Combine that with Cupertino schools and Fairgrove trades in a market of its own.
